DeLeon Tequila Arrives in Hong Kong

Origin

DeLeon Tequila is crafted at a family-owned agave field and distillery in Purisima del Rincon, Guanajuato, Mexico, one of the few states outside Jalisco allowing production of 100% Blue Weber Tequila. The town name literally translates to ¡§The Purest of the Corner¡¨ and was named after the Immaculate Conception.

Purest of the Corner

DeLeon is certifiably the purest tequila on record as documented by the Tequila Regulatory Council (Consejo Regulador Del Tequila) or CRT based upon superior alcohol and methanol levels. The CRT (Tequila Regulatory Council) legally requires all tequila be distilled a minimum of two times and contrary to popular belief, added distillation is proof positive of an inferior product.  With DeLeon Tequila's quality and innate purity, it only requires two distillations comparing to the majority of other tequila brands which need a minimum of three to five times.

Strict selection of raw materials

Composed of 100% Puro de Agave Tequila, DeLeon Tequila is produced in the highlands of Purisima del Rincon, Guanajuato, Mexico. With a sea level of 2,000m, the region is known as ¡§The Purest of the Corner¡¨. Agave cultivated at this region tends to be naturally sweeter, with more honey, citrus, and floral notes. In addition, DeLeon Tequila distillery also has the purest water levels in the entire country of Mexico; it is the only tequila producing facility in the world with three natural spring wells dedicated to one source.

Aiming at enhancing the purity and serving the most delicate and original flavor to all spirit lovers, DeLeon Tequila is the only brand which contains no chemical coloring, synthetic flavor softeners or accelerants in its tequila. Not even for Glycerin, Sucrose, Oak Extract and Caramel flavoring, the four additives commonly used to mask unfavorable aroma and flavor in an inferior product.

Detailed and Focused Production

The DeLeon distillery is one fabrica producing one brand of tequila. DeLeon is and will always be one of one, whereas almost all distilleries manufacture upwards of 47 brands from the same single distillery. Here at DeLeon, it is not produced with multiple tequila brands that routinely compromise quality, every detail of the tequila making process is perfected.

The barrel aging process of the DeLeon Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo tequila is unrivaled, with no Glycerin or Caramel flavoring being added, instead, DeLeon flavors are naturally drawn from the 150-200 year-old Haute Futaie French Oak barrels. DeLeon even finishes their Anejo in French Sauternes barrels from the most revered winemakers of our time. DeLeon Tequila is made complete by the natural flavors of these exquisite barrels solidifying the distinct DeLeon profile.
