About Kate March
an American director,performer, and choreographer currently based in Hong Kong. She received her BA in Performance/Choreography from Connecticut College and MA in Choreography from Middlesex University (London). Ms. March directed and founded the former company-in-residence at Middlesex University: March Performance Group (MPG). In her time with MPG she directed/produced and wrote An Evening of Meat, which was shown several times in London and produced in Berlin by Felix Ruckert @ Schwelle 7. Additionally, many of her experimental movement/theatre pieces have been produced and self-produced extensively in NYC (Judson Church); CT (International Arts and Ideas Festival, CT Artist Fellowship Grant; Connecticut College); London (Old Vic Tunnels, Old Boys Club, Candid Caf? and Hong Kong (HK Contemporary, Moon Gallery, and ExperimentA). Her work has been described as 'stunning concept pieces' ; provocative; and riveting with a bold and feminine voice.
